The BDA has announced that it will be combining the BDA Broadway evening and the Gala Dinner, which will now take place as one event on Friday 9th April. This is due to Saturday’s entertainment clashing with other events of interest to the Deaf community, namely City Lit’s Deaf Day, to which the BDA would like to show its support.

The British Deaf Association (BDA) has launched its Tree of Knowledge –Leaf of Life consultation which is aimed at getting views from D/deaf young people and young adults across the whole of the UK. This consultation in England is being funded by the Big Lottery Fund and with their support the BDA will visit as many schools, colleges and clubs as possible to find out what the BDA can do for young D/deaf people.

For delegates attending the BDA’s 120th Anniversary Celebration Congress in Bournemouth next month, a number of limited reduced rate rooms have now become available at the De Vere Royal Bath Hotel.
