Deaf Equality Training (DET)

DET is a very popular professional development course that supports the understanding of Deaf people, their culture and language. It enables staff and professionals to better meet their obligations in relation to the Equalities Act (2010) in providing services and information that are equally accessible to Deaf BSL users and encouraging good practice within their organisational structure.

Deaf Equality Training is an accredited course and can be used as part of your staff’s continued professional development.
