British Deaf Association

Fundraising

The British Deaf Association is a non-Government funded charity so we rely on fundraising, donations and legacies to support our work with Deaf people. Your donations and fundraising will help fund much needed projects and initiatives such as:

  • Youth work
  • Providing advocates for Deaf people who have been discriminated against
  • Paying for campaign resources to lobby our government to allow Deaf children to use both BSL and English in their education.

There are lots of ways you can get involved and raise funds for the BDA. Some ideas include:

  • Sponsored walk/run
  • Finger spell-a-thon
  • Sponsored silence
  • Cake stall
  • Non-uniform/fancy dress
