Welcome to BDA Youth.
BDA Youth are a vibrant and important part of the British Deaf Association. We encourage young Deaf people to become a strong and influential part of the BDA and the wider Deaf community.
We encourage and empower Deaf youth to have their ‘voice’ heard by taking an active role in shaping their future and embracing their Deaf identity and culture.
90% of young Deaf people are taught in a mainstream education environment and for many, the BDA youth activities are their first experience of the Deaf Community & British Sign Language, which will become an important element of their lives.
