Funded by the Big Lottery Fund, The British Deaf Association Scotland is seeking to recruit three enthusiastic and highly organised individuals for our Deaf Roots & Pride Scotland project:
PROJECT MENTOR, £24,000
Full time (35 hrs/week)
(Three years fixed term contract)
The Project Mentor will be responsible for developing and implementing the three-year programme. They will research, set up and deliver training, and recruit and support freelance mentors with due regard to safeguarding. They will also be required to work alongside these freelance mentors, to target Deaf children and young people.

TRANSITION OFFICER, £24,000

ADMINISTRATOR, £21,500 (pro-rata)
Part time (21 hrs/week)
(Three years fixed term contract)
The Deaf Roots & Pride Scotland project requires an Administrator for a part time position. Their duties will include the full range of secretarial and administrative tasks, as well as maintaining financial and database records.
Applicants must possess proven secretarial and administrative skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to use their initiative.

All posts will be based in Glasgow and will cover the whole of the central belt of Scotland (including Glasgow, Falkirk and Edinburgh). The project must start by September 2016.
