Firewalk Fundraiser
Are you up for a challenge?
Fancy walking bare foot across burning embers to raise money for the British Deaf Association?
If so, we would like some brave volunteers to join us in this exciting fundraiser as part of our BSL Day campaign. We are taking this nationwide and will have 3 locations that people can attend on 17th & 18th March.
Bristol / Derby / Preston
The BDA are aiming for all all budding fire walkers to raise a minimum of £150 per person. There is no cost to fire walkers to take part, provided they raise the required amount.
How to get involved:
- You will need to raise a deposit of £50 to book your place
- You can start collecting sponsor money and pay your deposit when you have collected your first £50 - or you can pay the £50 deposit with your own money
- Then carry on collecting sponsors until you have reached your target of £150
- Think you can beat £150? We will be awarding a mystery prize and a news story with photographs in British Deaf News to our star fund raiser
What are you waiting for? Come and join us in this exciting challenge and raise money alongside us at the BDA.
If you are up for the challenge, email Paul: paulc@bda.org.uk for an application form and more details. See you there!
