Is Gaelic dying? With less than 50,000 people now speaking the language in Scotland, should the Government keep spending money on keeping the language alive?

Has the Deaf community shown the way, with the British Sign Language (Scotland) Act, for other minority groups to have the rights to communication?

The panel will look at the relationship between language and identity, and it will look at if it is possible to ensure everyone’s communication needs can be achieved.
