The topic for the Deaf Forum meeting is an information session from Derbyshire Police who are working alongside the BDA to let the Deaf Community know about Personal Safety and Burglary. Maybe you have been worried when walking home alone a night, you are not sure whether you are safe or how to protect yourself OR you are using your phone and you are worried that someone will take it and how you prevent this. Maybe you are worried about your house, is it safe when you go on holiday or away or maybe in the unfortunate event you actually do get burgled, what do you do? what are the procedures? This is why we would like you to come along to the North Derbyshire Deaf Forum meeting on Saturday 16th April. If you want to know more, or the address, please see the poster and if you need to contact us for more information this can also be found on the poster. Booking for this event has now closed.
