As and When Required
£8.25 per hour
Post ref no:  130/16

The Mungo Foundation is a well-established, dynamic charitable organisation, employing over 600 staff and providing support to a diverse range of services. We are committed to providing personalised services and improving the lives of the people we support. We value our staff greatly and provide competitive terms and conditions and access to the organisation’s training and development programmes.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a number of housing support workers to join our team on a relief / session basis.

Relief staff are required to work on an “as and when” required basis to provide cover for permanent employees due to sickness, holidays etc.  Specifically, we are looking to recruit within our Barrowfield service which is based within the East End of Glasgow.

This service provides housing support opportunities to individuals who are deaf and have additional support needs.

Successful candidates will be flexible in their approach to providing outcome based support for all service users, ensuring that the individuals are in control of their own support.

Due to the needs of the individuals who use the service, the ability to sign is essential therefore successful candidates will be required to evidence that they have obtained a relevant BSL qualification.

We offer excellent support, training and the Scottish Living Wage of £8.25 per hour. If you are looking for a new challenge, this may be the position for you.

The successful candidate must possess or be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
